ABOUT JOAN
Joan Dellavalle, owner of a Ebony & Ivory with Husband Geoff DellaValle, opened their doors seven years ago to cater for a diverse clientele.
Joan migrated from Zambia 10 years ago. She is a fully qualified hair, make up artist and fashion designer. Joan says the joy of being in this industry is the fulfillment and accomplishment you see on your clients faces when you finish doing there hair or makeup. She is an extraordinary individual that expresses her talent in all her work that she does, believing that every client is very unique and beautiful in there own way, and this is the high mark for her work.
She believes all her staff members should be able to do the same if not better, she says we live in such a diverse cultural world, so its only acceptable to be able to do every hair type and put all of your soul into it. Joan stands at the very peak of her work. Her driving passions truly breathe taking work Styles through hand work and passion. Every work she does tells a beautiful story.
She loves doing Hair extensions devotedly by using the weave method which was passed on from her ancients, she does other methods which can be found on this site. She also specializes in transforming the most difficult hair into an easy wash and wear style.
Joan keeps on adding more projects to her journey getting more educated and empowering all her staff to do the same. She believes the wonderful journey in the hair beauty and fashion industry never ends.
